And with a fresh start, Flannery is starting to restructure the group, slash management costs and consider selling a stake in GE Digital.So GE's digital transformation has not been smooth.To meet its goal of cutting costs by $2 billion by the end of 2018, Flannery has begun deploying layoffs.With digital spending already exceeding expectations, the cuts are likely to spill over into GE's digital path.
